The Areopagus ("hill of Ares"), also called Mars' Hill, was where Paul the apostle confronted the people of Athens about their idolatry, using in particular their idol inscribed with TO THE UNKNOWN God to speak about the God who isn't made with hands in Acts chapter 17.
