Abarim is found in the Old Testament

Abarim (Hebrew, הָרֵי הָעֲבָרִים, pronounced ä'bä'rēm) means passages or regions beyond.

Geography[]

Abarim is a mountain range on the east side of the Jordan River, in the land of Moab, extending to the east and south-east of the Dead Sea down to the Arabian desert in the south. The mountain range's northern section is called Pisgah (or Phasga) in which Abarim's highest peak, Mount Nebo, is located. This is the place in which Moses dies. [1]
