Heaven is the spiritual realm[1] in which God Himself dwells[2] alongside the Angels[3] and Christians who have died.[4]

Description of the New Jerusalem

Gates

Heaven is described as having twelve gates with each gate having a tribe of Israel written on it.[5] Three gates were on each side.[6] On the north side, gates representing the tribes of Reuben, Judah and Levi.[7] The east gates were of Joseph, Benjamin and Dan.[8] The south consists of Simeon, Issachar and Zebulun[9] while the west contains Gad, Asher and Naphtali.[10]

Each of the gates were made of one singular pearl.[11]
